Before you sign up.

Do you take a cut of my deposits?
A 2.5% platform fee comes off each deposit — substantially less than the 15–20%+ that legacy salon platforms charge on full bookings. Your client pays you directly via Stripe, the deposit lands in your own Stripe account, and we take the small platform fee on top of Stripe’s standard processing.
What happens when a client doesn’t show up?
The deposit is already in your Stripe account — you keep it. Your cancellation policy is shown to clients before they pay, so the rules are clear from the start. You decide what counts as a late cancellation and how the deposit is handled.
Do my clients need to download an app?
No. Clients book on your own branded page in any web browser, on any phone. No app, no downloads, no friction. You manage everything from your dashboard at yourname.crownsuite.co.uk/admin.
Can clients pay the full price up front instead of a deposit?
Yes. The deposit percentage is yours to set — anywhere from 0% (book without payment) to 100% (full payment required). Many braiders run 20–30%; some specialists ask for full payment on longer appointments to protect their day.
I’m currently on Fresha, Booksy, or WhatsApp. Can I switch easily?
Yes — most salons are live with CrownSuite in under 15 minutes. Pick a service template, adjust your prices, connect Stripe, and share your booking link. We don’t pull your existing client list across automatically, but it rebuilds quickly as clients book — and you can email your regulars your new booking page in one go.
What if I want to cancel my subscription?
No contract, no cancellation fees, no lock-in. Cancel anytime from your billing settings — you keep access until the end of your billing period. The 30-day free trial requires no card, so you can try every feature before paying anything.
Is £29 a month really everything? No hidden fees?
Yes. Unlimited bookings, every service template, your branded subdomain, deposit collection, email confirmations, custom policies — all included. The only other costs are Stripe’s standard processing fee and the 2.5% platform fee on deposits mentioned above. No upsells, no paid add-ons.
