Terms of Service

01 About CrownSuite

CrownSuite is a booking management platform. CrownSuite is a trading name of T J Bungwe, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (referred to in these terms as "CrownSuite", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CrownSuite.

02 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a registered business or sole trader in the United Kingdom to create a salon account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business.

03 Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login details with unauthorised individuals. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

04 What We Provide

CrownSuite provides salon owners with:

  • A branded online booking page with a unique subdomain
  • Service management with hair-length pricing
  • Booking management and customer records
  • Stripe-powered deposit collection
  • Email confirmations to customers
  • Customisable business hours, cancellation policies, and branding

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and may perform maintenance as needed.

05 Subscription & Payments

CrownSuite costs £29 per month or £290 per year. All prices include VAT where applicable. New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with no card required.

After the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the platform. Payments are processed through Stripe. If payment fails, we will notify you and may restrict access to your account until payment is resolved.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

06 Your Data Responsibilities

As a salon owner, you are the data controller for your customers' personal data (names, emails, phone numbers, booking details). CrownSuite acts as the data processor on your behalf.

You must ensure that you have appropriate consent from your customers to collect and process their data through CrownSuite. You must not use CrownSuite to store or process sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for booking management.

07 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use CrownSuite for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other salons' data or accounts
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the platform
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the software
  • Use automated tools to scrape data from the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

08 Intellectual Property

CrownSuite and all associated branding, code, and design are our intellectual property. Your salon name, logo, and content remain yours. By uploading content to CrownSuite, you grant us a licence to display it on your booking page as part of the service.

09 Limitation of Liability

CrownSuite is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost revenue, missed bookings, or data loss.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to CrownSuite in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10 Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted from our active systems. Backup copies are purged within 90 days of termination. Payment records required for UK tax compliance are retained for 7 years. See our Data Processing Agreement for full detail.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of CrownSuite after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
